Financial experts involved in the property industry are setting their predictions for how house values are going to be affected in 2008.
There is a bit of diversity in the speculations, as ever, so it’s difficult to make any real decisions based on the views because of the variations.
Some expect no change in property prices whilst some feel there will be a drop and others think we can still expect a slight rise in house prices, but nothing like we have experienced in recent years.

I read the article on the link you have given in your blog. Yes, it is true that the prices might come down in this year. I am a real estate agent and according to me, the prices will cut down further more to around 3-5% than what they are today. However, we may see approximately 1% growth in the price as well, if the season is too bad.
