Read an interesting article this morning. A recent survey had shown that:
“on average we Brits owe on average £10,000 each in personal debt, which will only get paid off by the time we reach 50.”
It is a bit of a sobering thought to think that we will be in debt for most of our adult lives.
On average each person in the UK owes roughly £10,000 in personal debt, with men usually owing slightly more than women.
It also makes you worry that with all the debt we are paying off, the interest on our credit cards, our mortgages etc… will this mean we haven’t actually been able to save up a decent pension to enjoy our retirement?
