The increase in the minimum wage is set to benefit over one million British workers. It not only affects adult workers but also our young workers between the ages of 16 and 21.
It is hoped that the businesses that employ these people will benefit from a workforce that is more motivated, thus becoming more productive.
The news comes at the same time that holiday entitlement increases to 24 days per year, an increase of 4 days from the current 20 days.
